A Glimpse into the Life of Claude Gaveau 

Claude Gaveau, a French muralist, painter, and print-maker was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine in 1940. He spent five years at the Ecole des Arts Appliqués in Paris before moving on to the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts for six years. Gaveau won several awards, including the Antwerp Academy’s first prize. In 1965, he was awarded a scholarship to study Flemish painting in Belgium, and he had his first solo exhibition in Brussels.

Claude Gaveau’s reputation in the art world is attributed to his education at top art schools and participation in prestigious exhibitions. He has shown at the Salon de la Marine, The International Artexpo New York, The Palm Beach Art Fair, and Salon des Artistes Francais, where he received the Medaille d’Argent and the First Prize of the Government Princier.
