Annotation
“Untitled” a limited edition pencil-signed and numbered etching by the Russian artist Nahum Tschacbasov. The etching was created in 1951 and the verso shows gallery marking for events in NYC and Paris. I thought I acquired a black & white lithograph but it is truly a handmade etching. Etchings by Tschacbasov are uncommon. He was known as a colorist and black and white etchings by this artist are rare. Attached to matting by tape along the left edge. Some slight darkening to paper. In very good condition for its age. 70 years old.
