This examplar was acquired at an estate auction in New Canaan, CT. Once acquired, I removed the image from the dirty, dusty frame, and discolored matting. The piece was immediately shrink-wrapped and placed in the flat-file drawer. The initial picture framer framed the artwork in a professional manner. The image was hinged at the top and was allowed to free-float in the frame. No glue was used. When removing the image I decided to leave the tape in place so that it may be removed by your professional framer. This is an adult home and a smoke-free environment.
