It stands as one of 13 distinguished drypoint etchings, a testament to Dali’s unmatched skill, published by the Transworld Art Corporation based in New York City.

In 2012, the esteemed 12 Tribes of Israel Suite found its way into our collection from the legacy of a notable private collector. To preserve its pristine condition, the suite has been carefully stored within an architectural flat file drawer. Every artwork in our possession, including this distinct woodcut, is wrapped in either tissue or plastic sleeves. This diligence guarantees the art’s impeccable preservation as it transitions from our esteemed gallery into the hands of discerning art enthusiasts.
A glimpse into the life of Salvador Dali
Salvador Dali (1904-1989) was a pivotal figure in the Surrealist movement, and his art was heavily influenced by Sigmund Freud’s exploration of consciousness. Dali explored dreamscapes filled with exaggerated landscapes and bizarre imagery through various mediums such as painting, sculpture, and film. Dali was known for his flamboyant personality, which was characterized by his signature cape, mustache, and penchant for self-promotion.
