Cy Twombly

Cy Twombly emerged in the 1950s with his Abstract Expressionist works of art. His characteristic painting style includes drips and active, scribbled, and scratched lines. “My line is childlike but not childish,” he once said. The artist was influenced Early influences by Willem de Kooning, Franz Kline, Jackson Pollock, and Robert Motherwell.
